4 Good Headphones for Bassheads

hip hop headphonesAre you looking for great headphones that deliver deep powerful bass? Well you’re in look because in this article I’m going to show you not 1, not 2, but 5 headphones which if you’re a true basshead you will love.

I’m not gonna show you only the expensive ones, there are 1 or 2 which are also good if you’re on a low budget.

Ok so here we go.

First of all bass headphones are great if you like listening to hip-hop/rap or house music which is bass heavy. But if you’re not into this music genre then I suggest you look for a pair of headphones that provides an all-around quality sound.

Number 1 on our list is the V-MODA Crossfade M-100, which is one of the best headphones for hip hop you can find out there. The list price on them is around $250, but if you have patience you can get them for cheap during the holiday season.

The bass on the V-MODA Crossfade is clean and deep and the mids are also very alive.

As for the design, they’re fresh. They’re amazing to look at and the metal cover over the drivers can be changed to fit your preferance.

Next on our list is the Sennheiser Momentum headphones which have been a go to brand for professionals in the music industry for a long time. The sound quality is awesome, aswell as the strong frame and elegant design.

They’re close back headphones with over ear cups which do a very good job at isolating outside ambient noise.

The premium leather pads are extremely comfortable even after using them for a longer period of time. The same goes for the headband which is very soft and comfortable. The price on Amazon for the Momentums is currently $189 but if your budget does not allow that kind of spending you can go here to look at the best over the ear headphones under 100. These are cheaper but the sound quality is still pretty decent.

Moving on to number 3. We have the MDR-1R from Sony which is an amazing pair of headphones I myself had for sometime until I upgraded the something more high end. They come with a Beat Response Control which offers improved bass and transient response. The ear pads are comfortable and deliver powerful, deep bass.

The Sony MDR-1R headphones are made to fit perfectly even if your head is a little bigger then normal. And they’re very comfortable even if you listen to music for longer periods of time.

The price tag on the Sony headphones is somewhere around 200 bucks, but if I were you I’d wait for a promotion before I make a purchase.

No I didn’t forget about the most popular heavy bass headphones, Beats by Dre, that’s why #4 in our little list is the Beats Executive headphones.

The Beats Executive headphones have a sleek, aluminum body which makes them very durable. The earpads are also extremely comfortable due to the quality materials used. You can listen to music for hours without starting to feel uncomfortable. Although a lot of people think Beats headphones are over priced this pair is under $200 and in gives you quality sound, especially for those of us who enjoy bass heavy headphones.
